Former Saturday Night Live star Kristen Wiig, well know for her comedic roles in Knocked Up and Bridemaids, is taking on two new dramatically dark roles - one of which requires her to embrace full-frontal nudity.
The 40-year-old actress spoke to Elle magazine about her new character in Welcome to Me, where she plays a woman with borderline personality disorder who wins the lottery, quits her medication, and starts a TV talk show.
'I’d never read a character like that,' said Ms Wiig. 'I got to a scene where it read, "She’s fully naked," and I remember thinking: If I do this movie, I have to do this scene, because it’s really important to this script.'
