BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Boise Police Department (BPD) arrested a known gang member about a call for shots fired that occurred on Friday, Nov. 24, in the area of Curtis Road and Overland Road.
Boise Police were called to an apartment complex on the 1700 block of Curtis Road for a report of shots fired. Responding officers found bullet holes appearing to have been shot from outside of the apartment going in, according to BPD. No one was injured in the shooting.
BPD reports the investigation pointed towards a gang-related shooting, and they were able to narrow down the suspects based on evidence obtained that a "documented gang member," Kenneth Enger, was identified as a possible suspect.
Enger is a convicted felon, and when police tracked him down, he was found to have a firearm. Enger is facing charges of aggravated assault, use of a deadly weapon while committing a felony, unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and failure to appear.
