Missouri man arrested in Nampa for suspected homicide

A Missouri man suspected of homicide in that state was arrested in Nampa.

Nampa Police and the U.S. Marshals Service Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force were alerted of a vehicle believed to be occupied by 37-year-old Richard Michael King-Romero from Independence, Missouri, in the Treasure Valley.

Nampa Police located the vehicle and performed a stop near Garrity and Kings and were able to arrest King-Romero on a fugitive warrant from Missouri.

Police located a firearm and an explosive device in the vehicle. The Nampa Bomb Unit was activated and disarmed the device.

King-Romero will face other charges for the explosive device. He is currently being held in the Canyon County Jail.
